If I can have your e-mail passed to me, no problems. I only have pullets now as the last cockerels Have now been sold. They are all 2010 hatched, and as I said on the advert. Elaine Oliver won Best Hen and best black at the Federation with a “Pullet” from the same parentage as the ones I am offering for sale. You are welcome to visit and look at them, I am happy to give you directions to my place.

I have one black and white mottled cockerel, two mottled hens and two black/split mottled hens for sale. Lovely birds which came as hatching eggs from Cochin Breeder and Exhibitor Teresa Habberfield. The pullets are a result of an outcross to Teresa’s big National winning black cockerel (Best 2008 Bred Cochin and Best Black, National 2009). I’ve got some cochin black (we think 3 of them) cockerels, about 3 months old, really lovely, friendly birds – I do not want to keep the cockerels only the hens and would prefer if the ckls were taken on by a cochin breeder/keeper. I can supply pictures. These are the first chicks I have had, we think we might have 3 cockerels, but definitely 1 who is much much bigger than the others. Any offers of a good home or advice how I can rehome them to a forever home would be much appreciated

Hi I have got a broody hen and I am looking for some hatching eggs does anyone have gold laced cochin or are they not available in uk. I currently have one black cochin hen from peter heywood though she does have white feathers on her feet so i was looking for something different anything considered photos of stock where eggs are from would be good but not essential so long as they are from good standard cochin stock. My chickens have a very good life I currently have a bantam who is 13 yrs old and she still flies to sit on high fences I had a very sad day this year when my butty mate to her who was also 13 sadly demised to the fox he managed to get in with her and all youngstock from this years hatching and killerd them all except one she was a chicken I will never forget and it breaks my heart to think about it I dont know why I have such old chickens they just seem to live a long time obviously not all but alot of hens seem to go on and on. Any eggs that hatch will be lovely but prefererably gorgeous cochin hens would be great.
